The Portuguese Journal of Music Education [ISSN: 2976-0178] is published by the Portuguese Association of Music Education (APEM).
APEM is a non-profit cultural and professional association with public utility status. Its aim is to develop and improve music education, both as an integral part of human formation and social life and as an essential component of specialised musical training.
APEM is a member of the Council of Professional Associations of the International Society for Music Education, [ISME], the European Association for Music In Schools [EAS], and the Music Education Policy Group [MEPGroup] .
